The view of Mt. Myoko reflected in the calm water of Imori Pond is one of the most famous views of the region. A walking path circles the pond, and takes about 15 minutes to complete. A wide variety of wild plants and flowers and wld birds can be seen here. In late April, thousands of beautiful mizubasho (the unfortunately named skunk cabbage) blooms burst out in the wetlands.
